A new word

The medical language is like an ocean and an MT can never feel like he has collected all the pearls and hidden treasures lying in its womb.

This profession makes one humble because no matter how much experienced one is, one still gets to learn something new on a daily basis.

Today while doing a job, I heard a word which sounded something like "in addition", when I tried to hear it more creatively, I could also hear "on admission." This word was said at 2 places in the dictation and the usage at the second place made it clear that it was a condition and not the 2 words that I could make out.

There is a word called "inanition", which means exhaustion, as from lack of nourishment or vitality. This was the correct word as the patient had anemia and was malnourished.....

one more day and one more word..........:)
